Justin. Great pics!! I have some queries by which I might seek your advice? Usually, we would want to have a long exposure or slow shutter speed to get that reflective water scene or milky water effect coupled with a sturdy tripod. SO here is what happens, I set my f-stop to the highest possible, say f/22 and my ISO at low 100 for noise-free image. and I turn to the slowest shutter I can get. However, for sunset/sunrise shots, the sky is pretty much lighted up still. At that settings, I'm only able to get about 1/4 sec max, otherwise any slower the skies will be blown out. Now at that shutter speed, its not really slow enuff to get that reflective water or milky water or eliminate any distractions in the scene. What do I do then now? Thanks for any light that you might share! Appreciate it!

Setting to the highest F-stop possible will most likely cause a diffraction in your pics . So try not to use the maximum fstop if possible. To slow down your shutter speed, you can use ND filters. Hope this helps

Thanks for the great reply! +1 to the ND filter! But I think they sell pretty ex around though. But I'm not too clear about the diffraction at highest F-stop. What does it mean by diffraction?

Means your picture won't be taken at maximum sharpness
